How do I properly pressurize my CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle?
Fill with water to the fill line, replace handle and screw on tightly making sure that lanyard/carrying strap is not caught in the threads, and pump 10 times.
How do I properly adjust the nozzle from Mist to Spray modes?
The brass tip is threaded for easy maneuvering between mist mode and spray mode. For misting, turn the nozzle tip all the way to the left. As you rotate the nozzle tip to the right, the mist will change to a spray.
Should I leave my CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle inside a hot car and in direct sunlight?
Not advisable. Your new mister is made from high quality, heavy duty plastic. Still, it may be damaged and warp if left in direct sunlight inside a vehicle.
I just received my CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle and there appears to be water in it. Is it used?
We assure you, your CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle is brand new, never touched and never used. That being said, during the manufacturing process, testing is done to ensure proper function. You may find residual water droplets in the nozzle and bottle from this testing.
The brass tip of my nozzle came off during use. Do you offer replacement parts?
Yes we do! The nozzle tip is purposely designed to come off for cleaning. If your Mister is used in spray mode with the tip turned too far to the right, it may fly off. Order your replacement nozzle here.
If I damage my COREGEAR Mister do you offer replacement parts?
Yes, you can order replacement parts from us.
The nozzle on my CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle blows out in a steady stream instead of a fine mist, what can I do?
This usually indicates a clogged nozzle; these nozzles are very sensitive to hard water, and you should only use purified or distilled water in your mister to preserve the life of the nozzle. If tapping the nozzle on a hard surface to dislodge any mineral accumulation does not fix the problem, try soaking the nozzle in a small amount of distilled white vinegar overnight. In the event these methods do not restore your nozzle’s function, you may need to purchase a new nozzle here.
How do I replace the CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle nozzle?
First, remove the nozzle that is installed on the handle by unscrewing it in a counter-clockwise direction. The nozzle contains a white seal inside and when removed from the handle, the seal almost always remains inside the handle. Remove the white seal from the handle. Screw on the new nozzle onto the handle.
Can I use my CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle to drink from?
No. Your CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle is designed for skin hydration only. It is not advisable to be used to drink from.
Will hard water deposits collect in my CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle nozzle?
There are definitely possibilities of germs and bacteria collecting in the nozzle head so we suggest the following easy way to clean your product. The nozzle is where these germs and bacteria are going to collect so what we recommend is taking the nozzle off your product and soaking it for about 15 minutes in white vinegar. This will loosen any hard water deposits that may be carrying dirt. After soaking it, you gently tap the nozzle head so the unwanted matter falls out. Then give your nozzle a quick rinse and reconnect it to your mister. Taking this simple step will ensure a nice clean spray from your CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle.
What happens if I over-pressurize and/or over-fill my CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle?
The CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle is NOT a toy! COREGEAR recommends the bottle be filled to the fill line and pumped no more than 10 times. Any combination of over-filling and over-pressurizing may cause bottle to crack. Extreme over-pressurization may cause mister bottle to burst in rare cases. COREGEAR is not responsible for the misuse of the CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle. COREGEAR recommends that a parent or guardian explain to minors how to safely operate the CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle.
I am having a problem pressurizing my CoreGear® Pump Mister & Sprayer Bottle, what can I do?
Unscrew the handle from the bottle. On the underside of the handle there is a lip. On the outside of the lip there should be a large black rubber O-ring that is removable–99% of the time problems pressurizing are due to missing this O-ring. If the O-ring is missing, please order a Replacement Handle.
How do I file a warranty claim under the CoreGear 1-year Replacement Warranty?
To activate the warranty process, send a photograph of the defective mister to email@example.com. We will then contact you with specific instructions on how to obtain a replacement.
